Wayncor® - Chromate free Corrosion Inhibitive Pigments
With the ever changing environmental regulations placing more and higher demands on the paint and coatings industry, Wayne Pigment has developed a range of non toxic corrosion inhibitive pigments with the Wayncor® trade name. All products are chromate free, whilst many are also zinc free, thus allowing the formulator to develop label free products. The Wayncor® product range consists of cost competitive general use inhibitors to revolutionary multi-component, multi-phase synergistic systems. Wayncor® 196
Zinc and magnesium phosphate pigment. Can be used to replace zinc phosphate. Solvent and water based coatings, especially aircraft coatings.
Wayncor® 199
Zinc free pigment based on strontium phosphate. Can be used as a zinc phosphate replacement. Highly suitable for automotive refinish paints.
Wayncor® 205
Ion exchange calcium silica inhibitor pigment. Suitable for both solvent and water based paints. Highly recommended in coil coating applications. Heavy metal free and can be used in combination with organic inhibitors.
Wayncor® 210
Calcium phosphate. Label free alternative to zinc phosphate. General purpose for solvent and water based coatings.
Wayncor® 211
Strontium, calcium, phosphosilicate synergistic corrosion inhibitor pigment. Zinc free. Can be used in both water and solvent based paints. Wayncor 211 has good synergistic behaviour with standard zinc phosphate, allowing the formulator to reduce the level of zinc phosphate to below the labelling threshold level, without compromising on performance.
Wayncor® 212
Calcium borosilicate synergistic corrosion inhibitor pigment. Zinc free. Highly recommended for solvent based alkyds and other solvent based coatings. Label free alternative to zinc phosphate, typically at lower addition levels.
Wayncor® 213
Calcium phosphosilicate synergistic corrosion inhibitor pigment. Zinc free. Suitable for both water and solvent based paints. Surface treatment aids wetting out in water based coatings.
Wayncor® 214
Calcium borosilicate synergistic corrosion inhibitor pigment. Zinc free. Recommended for solvent based coatings.
Wayncor® 215 (NEW)
Barium phosphosilicate. Designed to work primarily in solvent 2 K epoxies, but it could find application in solvent urethanes and alkyds.

Zinc phosphate (tetra-hydrate) corrosion inhibitor pigment. Recommended for water and solvent based automotive refinish paints.
Wayncor® 222
Zinc phosphate (di-hydrate) corrosion inhibitor pigment. Recommended for general use in both water and solvent based coatings. Low moisture systems.
