BASF's ASP®, Mattex® and the market-leading Satintone® kaolins provide enhance titanium dioxide extension in coatings, inks, plastics and rubber.  Both hydrous and calcined kaolin physically space out TiO2 particles to reduce overall formulation cost without compromising on hiding power. Kaolin can also offer further cost saving on the total formulation as the density is lower than that of TiO2.
