They vary from soft polyurethane foams to very hard and tough phenolic resins. Curing polyurethanes sometimes requires a catalyst and for the majority of melamine resins and phenol formaldehyde resins.

At Lawrence Industries we have the technical expertise coupled with the support of our long standing Principals to provide excellent advice on additive selection in several areas of interest.

  • Polyurethanes - a selection of polyols, isocyanates, catalysts including tin, bismuth and zinc, moisture scavengers, mineral fillers such as wollastonite including silane coated versions, silicone surfactants, fumed silica, functionalised sulphide resins, rheology modifiersand hollow glass micro bubbles.
  • Phenolic Resins - a selection of mineral fillers (includes basic and coated versions of wollastonite, mica and quartz), fumed silica, ceramic microspheres, hollow glass micro bubbles, special effect pigments and metallic pigments.
  • Epoxy Resins - a selection of mineral fillers (includes basic and coated versions of wollastonite, mica and quartz), fumed silica, ceramic microspheres, hollow glass micro bubbles, special effect pigments, metallic pigments, functionalised sulphide resins, silicon carbide and carbon fibres.
