Aurora LA

Photoluminescent Pigment (Glow-in-the-dark)

Aurora LA series are comprised of inorganic photoluminescent pigments with extended afterglow properties. Grades are available for both aqueous and non-aqueous formulations. Emission colours are either blue, green or red and typical applications are novelty items and safety signage.

    • Rare earth aluminate or oxide based powders.

    • Photoluminescent - absorb visible and UV radiation and then release it back as visible light.

    • One grade with special coating to enable incorporation into aqueous systems.

    • Blue, green and red emissions.

    • Fine particle size between 10-20 microns.

    • Strong initial luminosity when placed in the dark.

    • Long afterglow decay performance.

    • High decomposition point and chemical stability.

    • High lightfastness for long life.

    • Insoluble in aqueous and non-aqueous media.

Typical Applications

    • Safety signage.

    • Novelty items and toys.

Featured grades with technical datasheets

A brief overview of the key grades is given below. You will find the Technical Datasheets (TDS) available for download. If you are looking for a Safety Datasheet (SDS) or Product Safety Information (PSI) then please get in touch by phone or via the contact buttons at the top of the page.

Should you not find what you are looking for here then please note that we have further grades available besides these. One of our Technical Sales team will be happy to help. All of the sales team are technically qualified and will be able to advise you on which product to choose. You can either call us, email us or fill in a quick form at the top of the page to get us to call you (Request a Callback).
