CosminC is a product based on Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) that overcomes the traditional formulation challenges seen. Ascorbic Acid is a Vitamin C source, widely considered an anti-ageing powerhouse ingredient, and has many known skin benefits. These include brightening and evening skin tone, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, boosting collagen production, and it is a potent antioxidant that can be used topically to treat and prevent changes associated with photoageing.
Vitamin C, however, is challenging to formulate effectively within skincare products as it is not very stable. Pure ascorbic acid is also extremely sensitive to water, air and light, resulting in loss of activity and discolouration over time in varying conditions.
CosminC504 utilizes a proprietary Smart Bio-Shell delivery system to stabilise pure ascorbic acid against water, air and sunlight. The delivery capsule is composed of natural polymers that are skin-friendly with good texture and adhesion. This unique system is easily dispersible in water and L-Ascorbic Acid is delivered 100% on contact with the epidermis. CosminC504 offers stable delivery of pure Vitamin C that has high efficacy compared to Vitamin C derivatives.
