Anti-Static Carbon Fibres

Engineer in Sterile Coverall Holds Microchip with Gloves and Examines it

Product Overview

DONACARBO pitch-based carbon fibres are an excellent choice in the formulation of anti-static and conductive coatings and plastics. One of the main application areas is for the formulation of anti-static top coats for flooring put down in sensitive areas, such as microelectronic clean rooms or flammable material storage areas. DONACARBO can be easily incorporated into a wide variety of polymers for use in parts such as pump housings, electrical appliances and high performance sealings used in automotive.

They are available in either carbonised or graphitised form. Further processing by chopping or milling provides a variety of fibre lengths. In comparison to carbon black and graphite, DONACARBO has a lower impact on colour and so is well suited to applications where lighter colours are required.
