PU-Acrylic Emulsions

Polyurethane-acrylic covalent hybrids exhibit the flexibility of a polyurethane with the chemical resistance and toughness of a self-crosslinking acrylic. These resins are manufactured by a power feed process rather than simply a blend of the two resin types; resulting in higher performance. Typical applications for these emulsions is in protective, hard-wearing, floor and furniture coatings.

Features

    • Polyurethane-acrylic hybrid emulsions (covalent copolymer, not just a mix).

    • Manufactured by power feed polymerisation.

    • Self cross-linking grades available.

    • Low viscosity products with solids content between 34-45%.

    • pH between 7-8.5.

Benefits

    • Low VOC and VOC-free products available.

    • High chemical resistance.

    • High gloss.

    • Quick tack free times.

    • Excellent durability.

Typical Applications
