The METOLAT® products from Münzing Chemie are a range of siloxane-based and siloxane-free wetting agents used in architectural, wood and industrial coatings, construction products, adhesives and paper applications. With both ionic and nonionic polymer chemistries available, METOLAT® works to reduce surface tension and resolve coating defects like craters, fish eyes, orange peel and cissing. METOLAT® wetting agents do not negatively influence inter-coat adhesion and offer low foaming behaviour.
