Product Overview

The Tonnegel™ range from Clariant is an inert powdered form of attapulgite for the agricultural and animal nutrition markets.

The highly pulverized nature of Tonnegel™ allows for colloidal gel formation in aqueous solutions or slurry systems that impart thixotropic thickening and suspension. This can be used in both ionic and nonionic solutions.

This thixotropic behaviour works to prevent settling and syneresis from occurring for an even dispersion of minerals, nutrients and active ingredients.
