Formerly known as Goldschmidt, today TIB are headquartered in Mannheim, Germany and provide solutions for catalysis, corrosion protection, metal finishing and bitumen coatings.
Their TIB Kat range of tin, bismuth and zinc catalysts can be used in wide variety of applications including in the manufacture of alkyd and polyester resins, esterification, and the catalysis of polyurethane coatings, adhesives and sealants.
In 2014, TIB acquired German manufacturer BNT Chemicals GmbH in Bitterfield to add to their high quality catalyst portfolio and ensure backwards integration through their supply chain.
