Product Overview
Metalloy® effect pigments are aluminium based pigments offering metallic effects. Metalloy® pigments provide new styling potential to cosmetic products, with mesmerizing covering polychromatic effects.
The Metalloy® product range can be divided into two product lines:
1). Silica and metal oxide-coated aluminium powders
The silica and metal oxide-coated aluminium powders are innovative aluminium pigments especially developed for application in colour cosmetics, powder coatings, inks and wallpaper coatings.
The metal oxide coated range contains metallic shades in silver, gold, blue, green, orange and copper. They can be combined with other effect pigments and colourants such as pearlescent and organic pigments. This enables formulators to create unique colours and effects.
2). High chrome effect VMP aluminium paste
A range of Vacuum Metallized Pigments (VMP) dispersed in a variety of solvents such as Ethyl Acetate, (Methoxy) Propyl Acetate, Butyl Glycol and Isopropyl Acetate.
Metalloy® VMP pigments provide superior brilliance in inks, coatings and decorative finishes. It provides a high gloss and mirror like reflection.
