Product Overview
Natureglit® is a range of precision-cut, biodegradable glitter particles developed for decorative paints and coatings. Made from a cellulose-based film derived from wood pulp sourced from responsibly managed forests, it delivers a traditional sparkling glitter effect for formulators seeking an alternative to conventional PET-based glitter. The range is produced from a 35-micron metallised cellulose foil and is currently available in twelve colours.
Natureglit® glitter particles achieved more than 71% biodegradation after 28 days when tested to OECD Guideline 301F. This gives coating manufacturers a cellulose-based option for creating high-brilliance visual effects where biodegradability is an important product consideration.
