NEW Geopearl Crystal Star from GEOTECH is a synthetic mica made using synthetic fluorphlogopite platelets. These platelets are coated with metal oxides to provide the colour and then cut to different particle sizes to achieve various effects. The smaller particle sizes can provide a soft matting effect, while the larger particle sizes offer sparkling or glittering effects to the end product.
Geopearl Crystal Star offers a cost-effective solution to achieving pearlescent and shimmery effects in coatings, plastics and inks. With high brightness and lustre that surpasses that of natural mica, it is an obvious choice to provide eye-catching effects.
