Product Overview
The new range of Silux® Aurora pigments offers a premium, multi-layer iridescent colour travel effect. Alternating layers of silica and titanium dioxide result in a three-stage colour travel effect, enabling formulators to create unique, high-quality and dramatic results.
The Silux® Aurora pigments are UV and heat-resistant up to 1000℃ and are suitable for both water- and solvent-borne applications. Silux® Aurora pigments are non-toxic and meet all the major regulations in the Coatings, Printing, and Cosmetic industries in the UK and globally.
The range has six different grades available in three colours (Jungle Sunrise, Coral Reef and Tropical Ocean) and two particle sizes (10 - 75 μm and 40 - 250 μm). The larger particles provide a vibrant sparkle, whilst the smaller particles add subtle shimmer and depth.
