Silux Aurora pigments have a gorgeous three stage colour travel effect

 

The NEW range of multi-layer iridescent colour travel pigments

GEOTECH Speciality Pigments are renowned across the coatings, cosmetics and printing ink industries for the incredible visual effects that can be created using their wide range of pigments.

 

Their new Silux® Aurora range is the same with alternating layers of silica and titanium dioxide that allow the light to bounce off at different angles giving an iridiescent three-stage colour travel effect. This premium product can give outstanding performance with low addition percentages creating multi-dimensional and eye-catching colour play.

Figure 1: The Silux® Aurora pigments have a gorgeous three-stage colour travel effect. It is best shown in person, but these pictures attempt to capture it with angles and curved surfaces.

 

Being UV and heat-resistant up to 1000°C and also being suitable for both water- and solvent-borne applications, Silux® Aurora is suitable for Coatings, Printing and Cosmetics applications. The whole range adheres to all major regulations in the UK and globally for these industries.

Figure 2: The range of colours of the Silux Aurora means it can be used across a wide range of applications.

 

The range consists of 3 colours each (Figure 3) with two particle size options (10 - 75 μm and 40 - 250 μm) allowing for either a subtle shimmer and depth of colour or vibrant sparkle.

 

The Aurora Silux range consists of 3 colours each in two particle sizes, here an indication of the colour and effect of each can be seen.
