It's that time of year again... SCS Formulate is back at the Coventry Building Society Arena on the 12th and 13th of November 2024. Lawrence Industries will be there again, this year bigger and better than ever. We will have more space on our stand, more samples to try and more technical experts from our suppliers.

GEOTECH Special Effect Pigments - For the third but final year, Tom Taekema will join us from GEOTECH and this year will be joined by Lieke Boer. They will be on hand to provide their expertise for all things special effect pigments including their new carmine-free super deep pink and purple pigments and SCS exclusive bronzing drop samples. Jover Scientech - For the first time, we will be joined by Joaquim Jover who will be representing their range of antimicrobials, emollients and preservatives. There will be formulations available demonstrating the power of these eco-conscious ingredients and Joaquim will be available for meetings throughout the show, please book time with him here.
Medolla Speciality Chemicals - New to Lawrence Industries this year, Medolla Speciality Chemicals offer high-performance, versatile and Cosmos-approved emulsifiers. Their Olivatis® series features natural emulsifiers suitable for various applications and is recognised for creating luxurious stable emulsions that are gentle on the skin. Their products will be available to test for yourself at our stand in multiple formulations.
Innova BM - Utilising the power of plants, Innova BM develop and produces innovative active ingredients from in vitro cultures of plant stem 'super' cells. By imitating nature and exposing the cells to stressors, specific substances that give desirable cosmetic qualities are overproduced. Their ingredients will be showcased in a number of formulations available to test at the show as well as in their Inspire Display in the centre of the hall.
ImDerma Laboratories - ImDerma Laboratories offer an integrated BioScience platform with ingredient development, efficacy evaluation, safety assessment, compliance services and more. Their combined approach to cosmetic innovation means their ingredients have incredible efficacy science to back up the claims. ImDerma also have a unique intracellular delivery system which allows their products to penetrate up to 24 times faster. Their range includes spot lightening, brightening, anti-oxidants, moisturisers and anti-acne actives for skin care products.
Cosmodec - Cosmodec are a South Korean manufacturer and have developed a revolutionary stabilisation technology. This along with their ongoing Research and Development efforts means their portfolio of stable active ingredients for personal care is ever-growing. Currently, in the UK, they have water-soluble complexes of caffeine and salicylic acid and their stand-out stable Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) Complex.
Hi-Q Marine Biotech - As the name suggests, Hi-Q Marine Biotech are using the secrets of the ocean to bring marine actives to the UK cosmetics industry through their distributor Lawrence Industries. Their clinically proven ingredients are developed from aqueous extraction of Laminaria Japonica, or Brown Algae, and offer anti-aging and photo-aging protection. Their manufacturing process boosts green technology that avoid the use of solvents and other environmentally harmful chemicals.
Manuka Biologicals - Hailing from New Zealand but represented in the UK by Lawrence Industries, Manuka Biologicals grow and produce sustainable East Cape Manuka Oil. Their focus is on revitalising traditional Māori farming and healing practises with their own plantations and wild harvest. Any production waste is used as fertiliser or for their water-to-biomass research program which has been set up to hopefully replace plastic packaging in the new future.
