High-Temperature Expandable Graphite for Engineering Polymers
High Temperature Expandable Graphite from LUH is able to be used in thermoplastics without expanding during the extrusion process.
For the fourth year in a row, Lawrence Industries will be exhibiting at SCS Formulate at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The UK's largest dedicated personal care exhibition is set to take place on the 11th and 12th of November 2025.
As in previous years, we are showcasing our comprehensive portfolio with premade samples and concept formulations that highlight the benefits and efficacy of our ingredients.
This year, our theme is the Rhythm of Renewal, which focuses on aligning beauty and skincare with the body's natural circadian rhythm. During the day, our skin is under attack from UV rays and pollution so our skincare should work to defend the skin. Overnight, the skin and the body go into repair mode and so additives can do the most good.
Come and see us at the show to hear more about the science behind these formulations and how our ingredients allow them to benefit our skin. You will also be able to pick up a USB with the full concept brief, datasheets for the ingredients and the formulations themselves. This year, we have gone paper-free and so will only be giving out digital copies of the brochure.
We will also have samples made by our suppliers, which will be available to test, try out and take away.
Along with our suppliers, Geotech Speciality Pigments and Jover Scientech, we will be on stand 928, ready to discuss the ins and outs of our ingredients and formulations and help you with how they can apply to your own formulations.

Our stand has been designed, built, and managed by Quadrant2Design, which allows us to reuse our stand panels and structures for a more sustainable approach to exhibitions.

Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) is a naturally occurring iron oxide used in protective coatings due to a lamellar/platy morphology that allows it to form a barrier towards the ingress of water.
Thermochromic pigments, such as Chromazone®, enable formulators to create products with dynamic and heat-sensitive, colour changes. These smart materials have found their way into various applications, from functional safety indicators to eye-catching promotional products. For example, reversible thermochromic pigments are used in novelty mugs that reveal hidden designs when filled with hot beverages, packaging that signals when food or drink is at the optimal temperature for consumption, security labels for brand protection and anti-counterfeiting, and temperature-sensitive warning indicators on surfaces or medical devices.
